Impressing the 1100 attendees from approximately 24 states and Canada on the first day were dancers from Jemez Pueblo. The Cherokee National Choir sang the national anthem in Cherokee.
Don Burnstick is a Cree from the Alexander First Nation located outside of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. being the youngest of 15 children, coupled with the fact that he grew up on the reserve, taught don a variety of means of defending himself, not the least of which became his use of humour.
