SAY Magazine arrived at our house today.  How exciting!  It is a great magazine.

I am really thrilled to read it all and become more familiar with the slant and style of the publication.  I think I'll take it into some of our local Magazine sellers and show it off a bit.  It really is a great publication.

I immediately thought of Douglas Miles who is the founder of Apache Skateboards.  He has founded a skate team of native kids and he paints wonderful Apache Warrior Decks that are now selling for $3,000 and up as art pieces Worldwide.  Douglas also writes poetry and speaks to kids on the rez.  It would be great to see a story on his skate team in SAY.

Many blessings and best wishes,
Susanne and Trevor

Thanks for sending several copies of your beautiful magazine, Say.

It's nice to see there are quality publishers and journalists that still exist among the masses, that don't have time to do the quality work you do.

I would love to post the link of your mag on our media center for SafeMedia.

LOOKS GREAT -Hello! I just found your website and would like to know what the cost would be in US dollars for a subscription? The magazine looks great..And it's very impressive that you guys "up north" really strive to bring Native issues and people into the mainstream. Unfortunately here in the States there is little in the way of programming for Native people, or magazines such as this. Keep up the good work! - Miigwetch!  Carri Singer

“I’m so glad this magazine exists,” says Sonny Skyhawk, 60, a Lakota Sioux who grew up on South Dakota’s Rosebud Reservation. “It’s vital that young native people see that there’s a place for them in main-stream society.”
